Kindergarten is a very important and exciting time in the life of every child. It is when children set out on their academic careers and begin their lives as independent members of a community outside of the family. At TED Alanya we understand the opportunity this period of discovery affords the young student, and we give each student an educational experience that will prepare them for academic achievement and instill in them a lifelong passion for learning. We also understand and recognize what every parent knows and holds dear: that within every child there is the potential for a lifetime of fulfillment and success, and we give our students the education that will allow them to achieve their potential.
At TED Alanya the Kindergarten is housed in its own state-of-the-art facility, giving students the opportunity to comfortably acclimate to their new school experience while still seeing that they are an important and valued member of the overall school community. The Kindergarten curriculum at TED Alanya was designed to provide an active learning environment in which each student is able to expand their creative potential, enhance and refine their ability to express themselves, discover and develop their talents, and explore new areas of interest. Our safe and supportive learning environment also encourages students to embrace their individuality, develop a deeper self-awareness, and begin to gain independence. Within this educational framework, students are successfully prepared for their transition to the primary school.
In addition to their two regular classroom teachers, students receive instruction in English, German, computer technology, the visual and performing arts, music, drama and physical education from specialized teachers from our primary school.
